Boats
Our charter fleet has grown and changed over the seasons to what we think is the perfect line-up for California charters.
We started with 23-foot Parkers, but as bluefin tuna charters have required more distance and speed to reach the grounds, we shifted boats to a 26-foot MexiCat and a 34-foot Freeman. Both boats also excel for swordfish charters and island trips on white sea bass charters and lobster charters.
Our MexiCat, Por Finn, showed us that you really can have it all: a total walk-around design, a nine-foot casting platform in the bow, a pilothouse, a smooth ride and fuel economy that we haven’t had since it was just the 17-foot Arima; it takes up to 4 anglers. Our 34 Freeman can travel up to 50 miles per hour, with the average cruise speed in the low 40s; it takes up to 6 anglers.
All gear and tackle are provided; anglers are also encouraged to bring their own.
